MOSCHE presents ‘ON HOLD’ Sound Installation by Zoe McPherson at future retail space ALHAMBRA Berlin
The closest thing I came to a club experience this month, was standing alone in an empty soon-to-be luxury department store off Ku’Damm.
Before the official opening of ALHAMBRA BERLIN this September, the spacious space is offering local artists a space to show their work. For the first pseudo-exhibit, Jason Heath is curating a sound exhibit “ON HOLD” with Mosche Co. and the artist Zoe McPherson.
We are all “on hold” at the moment. These installations takes place under the idea that we all have a lot of time right now but can’t even use it. It contains anticipation, confidence, ambition and passivity. Apocalyptic is a good word for this experience. It was a glimpse into the fall of capitalism before its inevitable rise again. If we don’t have the goods, at least we still have the experience.
