THE FRÄULEIN WEEKEND EDITION

vor 4 years

From this week’s fashion shows to the latest political news… Here is what was on our radar at Fräulein – of what to do, watch and read this weekend.

Our entire last week was marked by very mixed weather, but that couldn’t stop us from sitting at the small tables in front of the bars and restaurants in wind and rain, enjoying the first lifts of the measures. We got back a little bit of our normality and our weekends may have been shortened by an hour or two of sleep or television.

Now, here are some suggestions on what to spend your time on this weekend:

So everything is open again and we really do not know where to go first, but i have the best advice where to go for the best coffee  and nicest food in Berlin Schöneberg..

TO GO:

MOKALOLA BERLIN / ZA’ATAR

Leberstraße 21, 10829 Berlin

A beautiful balcony, a lovely arrangement with flowers and the best place to go to for sweet potato fries, haloumi sandwiches or vegan / vegetarian dishes in general. But after all: the most nice Employees and owners. A beautiful surrounding, especially in the evening with some friends, some blankets, in the soft light of their fairy lights. Za’atar is definitely your place to got for a laid-back dinner with your beloved ones.

And when you long for coffee, great cake ( vegan carrott-cake, brownies) or amazing curry and other hot dishes, MOKALOLA is already waiting for you! Same owners, different but still the nicest staff.

And both are next to each other..

TO WATCH:

FEEL GOOD SEASON 2 – NETFLIX ( 4.06.21)

Yes, i know our couch-times are over now and we (should) spend our days and nights outside again, but you should definitely watch the second season of “Feel good” on Netflix. The continuation of the complicated love-story of Mae (Mae Martin) and George (Charlotte Ritchie), one stuck in the past, the other one creating a new present for herself.

TO WEAR:

YEEZY GAP PUFFER JACKET

This week on Kayne West’s 44th birthday party, Gap dropped its first looks from the Yeezy collection with the rapper. Yeezy Gap which will be launching soon, released a single bright blue puffer, which will retail at around $200. West has manifested this moment since 2015, when he told Style.com, “I’d like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap. I’m not talking about a capsule. I’m talking about full Hedi Slimane creative control of the Gap.” According to Bloomberg, his partnership with Gap is estimated to be worth as much as $970 million.

TO LISTEN:

SLAYYYTER – TROUBLED PARADISE

Finally, we can party again and it’s just in time for the release of the new album from Slayyyter. Trouble Paradise  is a Y2k-inspired album that promises to give everyone who listens a ride of their life. Troubled Paradise chronicles the musician’s first major breakup and its aftermath, from the catastrophic split to the beginning of her new relationship. A definite must listen!!
