Fräulein’s publishing studio, Off One’s Rocker Publishing, is seeking an Editorial Intern to support our editorial team across all our publishing platforms (Numéro Berlin, Fräulein & Intersection) for 3 to 6 months. This position offers a first hand look at how our magazines are formulated and come into being.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping to build & organise an archive of content, both in digital and physical formats, across all our publications and platforms
- Independent and joint research for editorial themes
- Writing news/PR stories
- Copywriting for online and social media
- Assisting our Fashion and Culture editors as needed
Helpful skills to have:
- Fluency in written English with strong attention to grammatical accuracy
- Demonstrable interest in and knowledge of fashion/arts and culture
- The ability to work under strict deadlines, sometimes with time pressure
- Ideas and initiative to source and write interesting new content
- Knowledge of or previous experience within a fashion publication, or a strong desire to learn hands-on. A university program in a related field, such as Journalism or Fashion Design, is preferable
The position demands a 3 day minimum expectation, and is based at our office in Schöneberg, Berlin. The position begins 2nd of November.
