Right when the long-awaited weekend is just around the corner, we assemble and (of course) share several news that are on our mind and keep us on our toes. So, let the weekend beginn!
ON FRÄULEIN’S MIND
DAILY PAPER: NOSTALGIE MEETS CONTEMPORARY
Daily Paper launches their SS22 as a perfect homage: A fusion of hip-hop culture and the true origins of streetstyle. With visual references to the Pan-African flag in their palette, the collection presents a line of nostalgic, yet contemporary pieces modernizing the old school hip-hops fashion staples: monogrammed suits, bandanas a variety of fitted tops and accessories for all genders.
Unity and liberation of the African diaspora stand at the very focus of the collection, with perfectly balanced tones and signature silhouettes, the freshly baked brand shakes up the streetwear scene with its authenticity.
MARC O´POLO SS 22 WOMEN: DROP 03
A mix of linen and cotton in sunny colors, ribbed knitted structures, and summerly vibes with a refined finish. Yellow, off-white, and stone beige build a strong ensemble letting us passionately wait for the warmer weather.
NOSALGIC MEDITERRANIAN SS22 BY SALVATORE FERRAGAMO
The new campaign by Salvatore Ferragamo plants nostalgia for the Mediterranean heat. Diagonal lines and strong silhouettes in assertive tones melt into excellent cinematographic shots by Amalia Ulman, accompanied by a series of shots by Hugo Compte.
The pieces combine Mediterranean nostalgia and timeless Ferragamo classics alongside setting the trend for casual clogs, bohemian slippers, and easy mocassins made with love to craft and thought.
GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT
A release worth the wait – Isak Danielson is releasing `Good Things Come To Those Who Wait´, a song full of vulnerability and passionate longing. The song serves as a teaser for an upcoming album, `King Of A Tragedy´ planned to be released this spring.
The Swedish pop star is known for his feelings-filled hits that, paired with his appearance, question traditional masculinity understandings and encourage us to tap into the sentiments.
