Life at Large: The Attico’s first capsule collection ft. leisurewear

vor 4 years

The Attico goes casual: The glamorous fashion brand released its first capsule collection including leisurewear for both women and men.

Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, the Italian design duo behind The Attico , created a fashion brand known for its unique and bold luxury pieces. As of last June, the brand plans to go back to the more “traditional” fashion calendar of two collections a year alongside a range of multifaceted projects, capsules and collaborations. Today they unveiled their first special project called “Life at Large”.

This capsule is very different from what The Attico is known for. The collection oozes a sporty ease with materials like cotton or fleece and oversized shapes. But the brand stayed true to its DNA: Sweatshirts come with shoulder pads and t-shirts can also be worn as mini dresses. It’s still The Attico after all.

“We still believe in a certain aesthetic, but we also feel the urge, in this very moment, to embrace a wider audience, to include all individuals”, state Gilda and Giorgia. “Overcoming all the barriers and definitions imposed by society, everybody is welcome, no matter of size, age, gender, sexuality”. The collection is shot by Bruna Kazinoti and shows multiple models casted over social media, where both designers built a strong community. And “Life at Large” is a collection exactly for this community.
