The London based menswear designer Priya Ahluwalia joins forces with GANNI for her first women’s collection

We love a good 90s moment as much as the next girl, but the upcoming collaboration between the British Fashion Award winner Priya Ahluwalia and one of our favorite lines, the Copenhagen-based GANNI, really has us feeling some type of extra special way.

Ahluwalia insisted on using only deadstock fabrics from past GANNI collections, creating a beautiful patchwork menagerie. This is also her first foray into womenswear, so this is a special collection for both Ahluwalia and GANNI.

“Priya’s work is so forward-looking and at the same time closely connected to her roots. I love that Priya has been inspired by the passing of clothes within family or friends in a tribute to her family’s legacy. When we started, their dogma was to only work with existing clothes and fabrics. The reworked prints from our past seasons are so beautiful and fresh, I love the unexpected patchwork patterns. While Spring is only just arriving in Berlin, we are already looking forward to the patchwork leather coat and matching mini skirt. Dreaming of so many ways we will style those pieces!
