We’ve just got used to the lightness of sandals, sneakers and loafers – and autumn 2021 and the boot season are already waiting in the wings. But there is still reason to look forward, because there are new additions to our shoe shelves: the new season revives the fashion trend for chunky boots, but with an update. Chunky boots are now worn with a knee-high shaft.
Two completely new silhouettes replace familiar shapes and bring a breath of fresh air to the winter wardrobe. Two styles in particular stand out in the ARKET and Vagabond collections: chunky Chelsea boots with a long, textile over-the-knee shaft and pointed, flat riding boots in shiny, polished smooth leather.
